WLI Diplomas
WLI students have the option of auditing courses in their area of interest or taking courses towards a diploma. WLI awards diplomas for Bachelor of Practical Ministry, Master of Practical Ministry, and Doctor of Practical Ministry. These diplomas do not certify levels of attainment, but rather accumulation of training units. No time limits are imposed on the attainment of any diplomas.
WLI has strategically chosen not to be accredited in the traditional higher education format. WLI is accredited with the ACEA (Apostolic Council of Educational Accountability). The ACEA web site contains detailed information and can be found at www.ACEA.org. WLI does not ordain any students. Spiritual coverings should come through the students nuclear or extended church leadership.
WLI Diploma Requirements
WLI students must complete the following WLI diploma requirements prior to receiving a WLI diploma.
1) Each diploma track requires students complete a total of 120 training units (TUs).
2) 32 TUs (of the 120) must be taken in a live format which includes attending a WLI course, attending an outside course/conference, or web casting.
3) 60 TUs (of the 120) must be WLI Courses. These courses may be taken live, web cast, or on CD/ DVD. (Please note that if a student is placed at 50% advanced standing, all course work must be WLI courses.)
4) Complete one WLI course in each of the six core topic areas for each diploma level completed. This accounts for 24 TUs of the 60 for each diploma earned.
The six core topic areas are:
1. Apostolic
2. Prophetic
3. Intercession
4. Spiritual Warfare
5. Deliverance
6. Healing, Signs and Wonders
WLI Central offers core topic courses live and on CD/DVD. The list of approved courses for core topic areas can be found on the WLI website or by contacting the WLI office.
5) Student account balances must be paid in full.
There is no delineation between courses taken for the Bachelor, Master, Doctor diploma tracks. All courses may be applied towards all diplomas.
Students are automatically approved for next level diploma track upon graduation. No additional applications or fees are required to advance into the next diploma track. Any extra TUs earned (above the 120) will roll over into the next diploma track. For example, if a student earned 123 TUs for the Bachelors diploma, 3 TUs would roll over into their Master program if they choose to continue.
